Finally I'm Home

((Character In Play: Pevency (Auqa Dragon) OPEN))
Pevency finally made it to River Danson...after Mzibi and she raced...stopping Lava in the mountains...she wanted to muddy and mossy again. She liked the Mixed breed dragon she'd come across. She hoped that he would visit her here some day. He had a love for the water like she did. He felt the same about rather being there than on land. She couldn't really think of anywhere else she'd want to be. She laid on the shore of River Danson...she contemplated going to Earth and telling Taniku she was okay but the Dragon was quite tired. She curled up on the banks ready for a small snooze...although she felt she should be in the water but in case her new friend wanted to visit her. she could easily be spotted here.

Mbizi had chosen not to fly today. He was thinking about Pevency. She was an amazing dragoness, and she seemed to like him for who he was. The aqua/feather winged was walking along the banks in silence, musing over what he might say to her when he saw her again. His steps were slow and heavy. Mbizi was weary, just in general. So much in so little time, and he was always moving. It was such insanity with trying to help his older comrades find one of their lost sisters. The mixed male sighed softly as he trodded along. It was only when he nearly tripped over the sleeping Pevency that he came back to reality. He stepped back some, not wanting to wake her, yet hoping she would so they could catch up after their brief time apart.

The rumbling of the earth beneath her made Pevency wake. her eyes watery with salt running through them. It was their way of keeping moisture. As expressed she wasn't out of the water often and thus salty tears ran from her eyes. There was a low menacing growl as a form tripped nearly over her. She rosed her head leaving her body curled and her neck looking upward and at Mbizi. Her scowling look was removed and replaced with an obvious pleasure trying to be hidden behind a nonchalant look. "It is a pleasure to see you again Mbizi." she said still curled up with salty crocodile tears leaving her face.

The hybrid smiled when she woke. While most times he might have reacted defensively to a growl, Mbizi knew is was Pevency and wasn't upset by it, especially since he nearly tripped over her. The aqua/featherwinged bowed his head when she spoke. He replied somewhat quietly, suddenly feeling extremely shy for some reason, "It's good to see you too, Pevency."
He shifted his weight slightly, uncertain of what to say or do next. Mbizi kept his smile as he finally broke his thoughts by speaking again, "How've you been since our last encounter?"

Pevency would have attempted to get up if she wasn't comfortable in the spot. "I've been good...helped put out a fire on the mountain after racing you...made me tired so I came home to sleep a little bit. But it never stopped me from thinking of you and our race..." she smiled. She was glad that she could be where she was most happy and there was a chance that a dragon that understood could be with her. "what about you...what have you been up to since our last rondevous?"
(lol i almost used "encounter"...lol it would have been like sentence dejavu.)

"I had heard about that, though I didn't go to help," he said, somewhat ashamed he hadn't helped. But on that same token, Bandido had tasked him with something else at the time. After a moment of silence, Mbizi lyed down, fidgeting slightly as he did in order to get comfortable.
When Pevency mentioned she hadn't stopped thinking about him and their race, the hybrid smiled. He had to admit that he hadn't stopped thinking about her either. Mbizi smiled as she answered her, "I was searching for a lost sister, and I thought of you every second I could."

Pevency didn't catch his slight need to be ashamed not everyone could be there. Everyone had their places to be...and since Taniku felt that no one else could be of any assistance to putting out fire she was required to go. Which turned out to be just as well...the heat from the lava and rock could have spiked the temperature of the river to unlivable heights so, "In a way I was protecting this river". She looked over to him as he tried to find a comforting spot. "It seems we are both resting from our missions" she noted.
Pevency's mind still played the close race. The rush was enthralling and something that set Mbizi apart from other dragons. She smiled at his admittance of thinking of her every once in a while. "Well some is better than none" she joked as she watched the waves on the river. She wanted to ask about this sister but thought against it. If they were making friendship or more all of the past would eventually spill. Time was better spent learning the other than rushing.

Mbizi nodded in agreement. Yes, it was much like she was protecting the River Danson. After all, it was her home. And if something had happened to the river, there might have been the chance he wouldn't have come across her again.
Again, he nodded when she noted they were both resting from their missions, "Yes, though your's was at least a success. We are still searching for Tellia." Mbizi sighed. He'd only met the Red Winged dragoness once, but he still knew she was family and everyone was trying to find her.
The hybrid smiled, almost blushing if it were possible. He agreed, "True, some is better than none. Though I do wish it would be more." Mbizi wanted to be able to tell her more, tell her everything he could. Like Pevency, he knew it would come in time as their friendship grew.

"Tellia" she spoke to herself yet loud enough for Mbizi to hear. "well how about we rest and catch up with each other then I can help you all look. After all we are all family." She wanted to help as much as she could but didn't want to move right this moment. She turned to him and smiled at his remark...some was indeed better than none. While she was spraying the mountain she may not have been thinking of him but afterwards yes she was.
"So other than tying with me in a race. What things do you enjoy Mbizi" She liked saying his name. It was so easily associated with him...and it was a name she could claim to be something she wanted to say often.

The hyrbid nodded in agreement, "An excellent idea." He was more liking the idea of catching up than resting, but that was mostly because it meant learning more about this fascinating aqua dragoness. Plus, with Pevency's offer to help find their lost sister, he was even more so happier. As she said, they were family after all.
Mbizi chuckled lightheartedly, thinking back to the race, "I love the water. Hence partly the reason I much enjoyed our race. Though I prefer being at the islands with open water moreso than anything land locked. What about you Pevency?" He tilted his head as he made the inquiry.

Pevency was happy with Mbizi to accept her help. She sort of smiled...but smiling for her was hard with the scales. The question of water made her giddy at any thought. "Water of any kind is appealing to me. I can find happiness in any body...although I have never been to an island. you should take me one day?" she asked...hoping he'd say yes.

Mbizi nodded with a rather broad grin, "That I will. My mother used to take me to Shell Shock island when I was younger. It's my favorite place, even if it is a bit barren." The mixed male paused, glancing skyward briefly before looking back to Pevency and continuing, "How about we go now? Waters at the shore line are a bit more relaxing than along the river."

Pevency saw the look in his eye. She knew the question before he even asked. "Oh yes let's!" She said in pure excitement. The Auqa lifted herself into the air and looked down at Mzibi to take the lead.
