Oh, this place does not look good...

Accalia carefully walked through the forest near River Danson. She was very superstitious, and has a bunch of fears. Every corner...every shadow...scared her. She never knew what could be in those shadows. She began to quicken up her pace. The white wolfess looked to her side every five steps, and behind her a lot. She felt as if being followed.

There's something wrong about this place...

As she gradually sped up, she stopped looking to her side. She went from a walk to a trot, to a jog, and soon a full-speed run. She was beginning to run out of breath, even though there might not have even been somebody following her. Accalia soon reached her top speed. The light yellow stripes on her legs, along with the bright yellow that covers all of her tail but the tip, began to blend into her white fur. It was also dark, making it hard to even tell she has some yellow fur.

Okay...there is definitely somebody here...oh, I don't like this place...

She was out of breath, and finally stopped. She took five minutes to catch her breath. Just as she was, she heard rustling in the bushes. It may have been a squirrel, but it also could have been another wolf. Of course, Accalia always thinks it is another wolf, and she always assumes that it is trying to kidnap or kill her. She looked around, growling. "Who's there?" she whimpered tiresomely. "Please! Don't hurt me!"

The creature rustled again in the bushes, and Accalia began to run again. She ended up running on top of a small, probably five-foot-tall cliff formed by a single boulder. She ended up running to the end of it, and tried to stop. The rock was very wet, because there was River Danson right next to it. Accalia began to slip, and the next thing she new, she was in the water. She didn't know that it was only two feet deep; she began to drown in fright.

Accalia helplessly flailed in the rushing river's shoreline. The currents gradually carried her into the deeper section. "Help!" she cried, spitting out water. "Somebody! HELP!"

Bear had been training constantly trying to become strong than his larger siblings. After his failure at Ice Mt. Peak he decided that both his body needed more training. It paid off. The relentless weight dragging and lifting had left the brown and blue striped wolf with rippling muscles that even under his thick winter coat could be seen. He was starting to grow again, as he was hitting his last growth spurt the teen was nearing his adult size which hovered around average for a male wolf. He was lucky. Considering Bear was born a weak runt of the litter and wasn't killed by his 3 much larger siblings. He soared over Danson River with ease his blue wings easily carrying him with his normal weight.

Slate blue eyes scanned the river initially for prey, something big as he always wanted to challenge himself. A bull elk or moose was always high on his list of prey. As he dove towards the river and landed lightly on the shore he took one moment to look around. It was quiet... too quiet, something had stirred the creatures in the woods into silence that was for sure. Bear shrugged it off, it was possible that he was the one that disturbed them, but the silence wasn't just over him, it was unsettling how far it seemed to go, he didn't hear any birds at all.

Looking around wary of his surroundings he knew of only two things that could cause such a silent. Either a very loud noise or a dragon. He shuddered hoping a dragon wasn't near, especially one that installed so much fear in the creatures around it but then a scream came to his ears. Being dark he looked around wildly thinking that there was indeed a dragon lurking and it had gotten someone then out of the corner of his eye and against the black water he saw the white dot being thrown about the river. He ran down the river with her at a full sprint. "Hold on!" He called his youthful tones echoing in the silence before spreading the blue wings and leaping from the bank.

He flew over her trying to stay with her and try to grab her but with the rush of water throwing her about. Finally getting so close to the water that his paws touched the water Bear grabbed her by the scruff and started pulling her towards the bank by the air beating his wings furiously to fight the pulls of the current. Finally Bear managed to get it so her paws were on a easy sloping bank for her to climb up and he landed roughly in the snow, wet and tired. "Are you alright?" he panted sitting slouched over slightly.

Accalia was just about to go under the water's surface for the final time when Bear had flown in. Her mind was flooded with thoughts, such as how thankful she is that somebody has saved her. As Bear grabbed Accalia, she began to gasp for air. And when Accalia and Bear got on the shore, and when Bear laid her down and stood over her, she closed her eyes, breathing heavy.

"I...I-I'm c-cold..." Accalia whimpered quietly. She was shivering a lot, because of the cold water, the snow, and the shock she was in. "Th-thank, mister..."

Then a thought came to her head. Oh, I know where this is going, she thought to herself. He is going to want a payment. He is going to want something back from me...oh, now this isn't good... The pessimistic wolfess opened her eyes when she recovered a little bit of the shock. She began to use her Fire Blessing in a very small amount, only enough to make her warm. She was wet, however, so if she was to stop using the Blessing, she would just end up freezing again.

She began to think things through. What in the world happened? she thought to herself. Did somebody push me off of a cliff, or did I run off of one? Then she began to ponder what could have happened if she hadn't have been saved. She began to think of how thankful she is that Bear had saved her.

Accalia was getting cold again. "I-I need t-to g-get somewhere w-warm," said Accalia. She had become sidetrack with her thoughts, and stopped using her one and only Blessing. "Where c-could I g-go?"

The white and light-yellow wolfess remained laying on the ground. She didn't really have the strength to, unless she is to be warm again. She realized she was getting cold, and that she really needs to get warm if she wants to even live. So, she continued using her Fire Blessing to warm her.

He was happy with her first statement it already meant that she wasn't in shock and that she would be fine given that he prevented her from getting hypothermia. "Good... Good." He muttered under his breath before lifting his head and looking over what she was doing. "Here." He said the a nearby bush caught fire engulfing the area in light and more heat. "Now hold still a moment, if you move this won't go well and you might catch fire." He said and using his fire blessing again carefully heated Accalia and his own body so that they were dry. "All better." He stated once they both where dried off.

"It was no problem miss." He said dipping his head slightly, "Any decent creature would have done the same." He didn't know she was scared of him the thought of her paying him back didn't even cross his mind as he stayed on the ground letting his tail run over the ground in a few friendly wags. Sure Bear was big and strong but he was still nothing but an innocent child compared to the world. "The names Bear." The brown, tan and blue striped brute said letting his tail flop about wildly behind him. "What's yours?"

Accalia didn't dare move. Common sense told her that she could end up worse if she moved while somebody was using a Blessing on her. However, she didn't gain this brute's trust yet. When she was all warm and dry, and when Bear said 'all better', Accalia stood up. She then faced Bear and said, "Um...thanks..." She noticed his name. Bear, as far as she knows, is a vicious creature who kills wolves and their pups. That made Bear even more terrifying to the average-sized wolfess.

Now he wants her name. She debated within herself whether she should or not. Could Bear be a head of a group of serial killers? She ended up deciding that telling a name shouldn't hurt... "Accalia," she replied. "Well Bear, thank you so much for helping me. I could have died..."

She then realized that if she doesn't offer a payment, Bear would force it from her. So, Accalia looked straight into Bear's eyes. "Well..." she said. Accalia began to hesitate. Her tail flicked, and she began to tremble on her legs. "I...um...I...think...um...well..." She then collapsed on her legs in fright. "OW!" yelled Accalia.

I need to pull myself together... Accalia thought to herself. I'm embarrassing myself! She then took a deep breathe and said, "What I'm trying to say, Bear, is thank you." She stood pack up and smiled a little, trying to shake off what just happened. "Is there anything I can do for you in return?" Accalia finally asked.
