The beginning.
Luna padded through the snow, her paws falling through the surface at times. Luna had felt neutral about ice, snow, or just the cold in general; even though she was part arctic. She wasn't used to these conditions, only having a tiny taste of it when she visited Ice Mountain Peak to retrieve stones and treasure for herself. She raised a paw to touch her fire opal collar like necklace, remembering digging for what she found. Though it didn't take much looking, it still took some time. Luna planned on going back, maybe to try and find something that could help decorate some of the dens back at Fire Pack.

The black and red fae stopped to examine the brown rocks that were scattered all around the bottom of the mountain. Some were pointed directly upwards while other were rounded like how she would normally see them. The alphess looked up, gazing at the sight of the enormous and frigid mountain. She couldn't help but second guess herself, how would she ever make it to the top? Luna inhaled deeply, then exhaling as she saw her own breath escape. This was required. If Luna wanted to protect her territory and everyone in it, she had to train her body to withstand certain types of blessings and attacks. Blessings were wonderous to her, only knowing a pelt full of blessing names and their effects from what her parents told her. Even they were limited in their knowledge of this magical world since they've been secluded from the mainlands. From what she's learned, there were blessing categories and sub-categories to them. Although her logic wasn't official, it did make sense from the pieces she's fit together. Most had something to do with nature, so that's why she's here. Luna knew all the dangers, and estimated that this will take more then just an hour, more like days. If she kept up the pace and stop to rest occasionally, she will make it to the top!

Luna started to walk up forward, beginning her journey.

Luna slowly padded through the snow, struggling to keep her legs and arms from slipping into it. It was starting to get dark, the practically invisible sun was setting down to the horizon. She had to find shelter fast, if not, she would be left sightless to the unknown and a paw step that she cannot see would lead to a tumble. But where would she find that? Luna paused to look around, finding a secure spot from slipping or falling. Snow, rock, and frost was all she saw. It was much windier up there, her being blown back and snow covering it. Why was she here again? To train herself to withstand anything! If she can't find a place to sleep, then she'll sleep through the night exposed! The alphess plopped down like a stubborn child, not caring if she would freeze to death. Luna curled into a ball, overlapping her tail on her face and eyes and having her wings cover the rest.

Luna woke up rather shaken, her eyes almost refusing to open. She wanted to go back into her slumber, never wanting to move from her spot or action. Luna knew the dangers if she fell asleep again, death. But that felt so much better then the other fateful options, you die in your sleep, you wouldn't feel a thing! No, she couldn't die. Not here, not now, Luna will die when she feels like it. She grumbled and pulled up her head, instant regret. It felt as if something had been stabbed through her neck, yet feeling numbness at the same time. Her head plopped down back on the snow, making her force her eyelids down as she felt the pain. The fem could feel the weight on her entire body, as if she had been buried. Luna twitched some of her joints and flexed around, oh, she was buried. Covered in snow. Luna knew she had to get out, or else she'd be buried more and more and suffocate. One on the many ways to die list she didn't want go by. Luna's wings made a flapping motion, trying to dig her way out by wiping some of the snow away. One of them poked out from the pile, flinching as the frigid winds hit her wing. Luna slowly crunched in, before kicking her legs out. She groaned as she managed to push her way out, the numbness all over Luna's body. She swiped her paws over some of the snow, making a path sort of to be easier to climb out. Pushing one last time out, Luna found herself being smacked by the wind. Luna didn't care if this was too much for her or she needed more training, she was going to the top of Mount Kara and she was going to make it there no matter what the rest of her mind warned of.

Luna launched herself from rock to rock, graciously traveling up the mountain. Occasionally, she would look down in curiosity, having the greatest view Luna had ever witnessed. She was almost at the peak of her destination, she could feel it. But what would she do once she reached the top? Go back down? For some reason, Luna had the need to live there, furthering her personal training. The alphess believed she wouldn't have to worry about food and water, since it'd be natural for someone her species could last a surprisingly long time without it. And also considering the fact that Luna barely ever took care of herself properly, so she basically unintentionally had her body get used to certain essential need shortages.

But also she had the risk of her pack, if someone else came across it, it's in danger. But that didn't matter to her at the moment. If some duck-brain really were to claim that pack, they would have to face her once she returned. As she found a path to ascend upward, she thought of the future adventures she would have to take after Mount Kara. Maybe take a quick trip to the hunting grounds and River Danson to replenish her strength fully then take another death route. Ooh! Then go to Ice Mountain Peak! She might as well get herself an award for making it all the up and live in Kara, as well as making it back alive. Luna smiled at the thought, she loved these types of things. Then she could add a collection to her den. Then she may visit an island or something and survive by catching fish while also train up her blessing abilities. So many ideas!

The fem leapt at a ledge, but slid down as she made in contact to it. Luna panicked, quickly scrambling up the ledge, the ice making it difficult. She pushed herself up, finally making it safely up. She looked up to launch herself to the next but nothing was there, just blue sky. That only meant one thing, she made it. Luna unfolded her wings and hovered over the top. She really did it. No blessings used. She landed directly on the mountain's peak, looking down ruefully. Now what was left to do, was live there.,

Luna flew in circles over Mount Kara, terribly bored of her temporary home. She wasn't exactly used to boredom or having nothing to do. In Equestria, everyone had their duties. Leafgold probably had the busiest, having to constantly keep her medicine in stock, planting food and even traveling back and forth from the Kingdom and Shama Forest. Luna was always trying to reinforce the Kingdom's defences, having plenty of ideas and thoughts, but her father never seemed to care or listen. He was too confident in himself and Equestria, but never thought about what would happen if something went wrong. Though he did create relations to a neighboring allie, she didn't feel it was enough. Luna sighed, landing on one of the ledges. The former crowned princess left Equestria, feeling as though being a queen wasn't exciting at all, but being an alpha was at least a tad bit more rewarding. Equestria was secluded from the rest of the world, which made her feel claustrophobic at moments. In Fire Pack, she could meet new creatures and learn about the world, as well as train herself all around Wolf Mountain and get stronger. Once Luna was finished with her tours around Wolf Mountain, she planned to visit The Battle Grounds and challenge someone to fight against. Once she feels as though she could defeat any opponent she comes across, Luna may return to the Colosseum and win more blessings and fighting experiences. Once that's done, go back to Fire Pack and well... That's it. She had basically planned out her life at this point. Occasionally, Luna wondered what was happening in Equestria. She hoped that they stopped searching for her, thinking that she was dead or left them forever. It seemed slightly cruel though, leaving them out of the blue without any notifications at all. Not only that, but she did that more often then anyone would think. Fine, Luna will leave a note or tell someone to send a message to them as soon as she left the mountain. Luna laid down, closing her eyes to catch some rest.

A Month Later..

The red and black fem was getting ready to take flight, unfolding her wings to catch the winds. She looked down, seeing the long way down. Quickly, she jumped off the peak and flew downward. She went faster and faster each second she went down, then shooting up before she could hit the ground. Luna stayed in the sky, heading towards Wolf Mountain at a higher speed. The feeling of the wind in her fur and being right under the night sky was amazing. But she didn't care for that right now, food and water was the mission. The peak of the mountain was now visible through the clouds, standing tall like always. She spotted a river of water, which could be the best way to get food at this hour.
